Confirmed: Daniel Padilla’s Mom Went Out On A Date With Coleen Garcia’s Dad

The dad of actress and one of the stars of “Love Me Tomorrow,” Coleen Garcia fulfilled his promised when he asked actress-singer Karla Estrada to be his date in the red carpet premiere of the movie, “Love Me Tomorrow,” a Star Cinema’s latest film now showing in various cinemas nationwide.

During the affair held on Tuesday at SM Megamall, Ortigas City, Karla Estrada and Jose Garcia were seen walking together to the delight of the crowd.

The stars of “Love Me Tomorrow,” Piolo Pascual, Dawn Zulueta and Coleen Garcia were also present at the premiere night.

When Coleen’s dad, Jose appeared in an episode of the morning talk show, “Magandang Buhay,” he politely asked Karla Estrada to be his date at the “Love Me Tomorrow,” premier night, with the ecstatic studio crowd hooting with a sign of approval.

The excited audience even went wild when Jose disclosed that he went to the set to personally invite Karla to watch the movie, where one of the main casts is his daughter, Coleen.

Estrada said to Garcia: “Naku Jose, ikaw mapagpatol ka din. Pumayag-payag ka, tingnan mo ‘yang mga ‘yan tuwang-tuwa.”

Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros took advantage of the situation by making fun of their co-host Karla when Jose appeared as one of the guests together with Coleen and her boyfriend, actor-host Billy Crawford in last Monday’s episode of “Magandang Buhay.”

Meanwhile, the Star Cinema disclosed through its Instagram account that the movie “Love Me Tomorrow,” has earned P13 million pesos in the box-office on its opening day (May 25), and is expected to do well at the rate it’s going.

The film is directed by Gino Santos with the team up of Piolo Pascual and Dawn Zulueta with Coleen Garcia playing as the third person in the flick.

Coleen said: “Actually, they really said it was a Piolo-Dawn project. So sabi ko, Ah okay, baka ano, baka anak ako or kapatid somewhere.”

Her co-stars Dawn Zulueta and Piolo Pascual, laughed when they heard Coleen presuming that she would be cast as a daughter in the movie.

“Kapatid naman! Nag-kapatid din ako!” She explained.

“I had no idea the story was gonna be something like this because it’s not something we used to see in the cinemas.”
