The scheduled concert of Alden Richards entitled “AldenVasion” which was supposed to be held at The Laus Group Events Centre, San Fernando, Pampanga, on June 24 was cancelled due to a bomb threat received by the organizer of the event from an unknown caller, warning them that the bombing will occur right during the concert night of Richards.

The postponement of the show was confirmed by one of the executives of GMA Artist Center (GMAAC) to ensure the safety of everyone.

The official announcement was first released by the producer of AldenVasion, CCA Entertainment Productions regarding the concert stand over.

The organizer said: “We are postponing the event due to persistent reports that may endanger the safety of the artist and the audience. It has been decided that a thorough investigation be made to address the issue. We will announce the new date soon!”

According to the report, the concert organizer received a telephone call from someone threatening that there will be bomb explosion during the concert night of Alden Richards.

The concert producer did not ignore the bomb threat nor taken it for granted and decided to postpone the AldenVasion concert until further announcement.

They also received a warning that Alden will be another Christina Grimmie aside from the bomb threat scare.

If we can recall, Christina Grimmie was the third place winner of The Voice Season 6, who was shot by Kevin James Loibl on June 10 after the concert of the 22-year-old American singer/songwriter. She eventually died from the gunshot wound.

Meanwhile, some netizens are speculating that the popularity of the phenomenal AlDub loveteam of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza are starting to fall off compared to its previous trend.

Nevertheless, actor-comedian Jose Manalo contradicted the observation of some bloggers advising that the speculation is simply not well founded.

Manalo said: “Nakikita namin ang lakas pa rin, e.”
