The decision of veteran actress, Vivian Velez to irrevocably resign from the set of ABS-CBN teleserye “Tubig at Langis” was a big surprised that shocked her friends and followers sending the netizens to air out their opinions via social media.

Vivian was not able to contain her emotion as she expressed her frustration and dissatisfaction against Cristine Reyes for being impolite and rude during the set of “Tubig at Langis.”

Vivian said:”The straw that broke the camel’s back was when we shared a designated standby room and she asked me to leave the room because she wants it only for her own. She bangs the doors and shouts at me.”

Vivian Velez shocked her Facebook friends and followers when she posted this message on her FB account on Sunday afternoon, March 6:

“With much trepidation, I would like to tender my immediate irrevocable resignation, effective immediately, from the show, ‘Tubig at Langis.’ I have never been so upset and humiliated by an actress in my entire career spanning four decades!”

The veteran actress was already insinuating even before that she’s feeling uneasy and uncomfortable with one of her colleague in the set who wasn’t treating her pleasantly.

Some people were even playing a guessing game and they were speculating that Vivian was referring to Isabelle Daza, but their suspicion about Isabelle was eradicated when Velez posted kind words about the daughter of former Miss Universe, Gloria Diaz.

She said: “Isabelle Daza is so wonderful to work with, love her working attitude.”

A few minutes after posting on Facebook account about her status update, Vivian was asked if she’s referring to Cristine Reyes as the person of interest.

Velez without batting an eyelash answered: “Yes, no one else… Isabelle Daza is such a sweet lady. She was crying for me so hard when the incident happened. She can’t imagine if this was done to her mom.”

Cristine Reyes and Isabelle Daza are playing the female lead roles at ABS-CBN teleserye “Tubig at Langis,” while Zanjoe Marudo plays the leading man in this soap opera.

When Vivian was asked about the whole story of what really happened between her and Cristine, she recounted: “The straw that broke the camel’s back was when we shared a designated standby room and she asked me to leave the room because she wants it only for her own.

She bangs the doors, shouted at me. She keeps on singing ‘Goodbye, Farewell’ in front of my face while we are rehearsing.

She complained to the production staff why they are nice to me and she should be the priority all the time. And many other instances of rudeness that is uncalled for.”

She was then asked when it happened.

Velez replied: “It’s been happening for a month now but the room incident happened a week ago and then last night.

It was the rudest thing anyone had ever done to me.

Last night in Bulacan, while we were rehearsing for a scene.

I was crying my heart out. Zanjoe was the one who made awat. He was such a gentleman.

He accompanied to my car and said sorry that this happened to me.

Isabelle and Ms. Tet, the producer, never left my side and cried with me.”

Subsequently, a reporter asked Vivian if her resignation was accepted by the Management.

“I’m meeting with them tomorrow, but as I said, irrevocable resignation,” she remarked.

We have yet to hear from Cristine Reyes concerning this issue.
